Military climbing between Iran and Israel has crossed a new threshold. The Iranian army announced this Saturday morning that it is preparing to launch nearly 2,000 missiles towards Israel, saying that “the next strikes will be twenty times more powerful than the previous ones”.
The body of the Islamic Revolutionary Guardians (CGRI), for its part, indicated that “the operation against Israel will continue as long as necessary”, in response to the recent Israeli strikes on Iranian territory.
This declaration comes after a series of targeted Israeli raids, claimed by the Israeli Air Force. “We have led specific strikes in Tehran, of major operational importance,” said aviation commander. According to him, hundreds of targets have been targeted in Iran, including air defense facilities.
In response to Iranian threats, the Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz warned that “the Iranian regime will pay a very high price” in the event of an attack on Tel Aviv.
During the night of Thursday to Friday, Israel launched an unprecedented aerial operation against Iran, aimed at neutralizing its military and nuclear infrastructure. More than 200 sites across the country have been bombed.
On the sidelines of this attack, the Iranian authorities reported 78 people, including several military officials, and more than 320 injured, the vast majority of civilians. The strikes caused fires and significant material damage.
In retaliation, Iran launched several ballistic loves in the night from Friday to Saturday, affecting various Israeli regions, including Tel Aviv, Al Quds occupied, Rishon Lezion and Ramat Gan for a balance sheet of three dead and nearly 50 injured.
The Israeli army claims to have intercepted several missiles thanks to its “iron dome” anti -missile defense system. However, some projectiles have escaped interception, causing damage and victims.
Israel claims to have destroyed the Tabriz military base, a strategic center for missile operations, as well as infrastructure in Hamadan and Ispahan. Iran minimizes the extent of the damage and affirms that its nuclear installations remain operational despite the attacks.
