The investigating judge of the Siliana Court of First Instance ordered a warrant for an educator working in Kesra, in the governorate of Siliana, following accusations of attack on a five -year -old girl.
According to information from Mosaic FM radio, the court spokesman said that the complaint, filed by the child’s parents, reported an assault using a pen, targeting the little girl’s eye region.
The victim was quickly transported to Bab Saadoun children’s hospital in Tunis, where she was hospitalized for eye injuries. A medical certificate attested to a two -month rest period, with the possibility of surgery. The case was entrusted to the unit against violence against women and children, which launched the necessary investigations.
Following the investigation, the educator was placed in police custody. The file was sent to the public prosecutor, who opened a judicial investigation. The educator, as well as any other involved, is the subject of legal proceedings. Pending the development of the investigation, it has been placed in preventive detention.
