According to data published by the Cereal Office, the total quantity of cereals collected in storage centers at the national level reached approximately 9.292 million quintals on July 4, 2025 with a daily collection rate of around 243,000.
These volumes include 6.089 million quintals of durum wheat, 0.478 million quintals of tender wheat, 2,688 million quintals of barley and 0.037 million quintals in triticale.
Regarding the use of cereals collected, 95 percent or 8.828 million quintals are intended for consumption while 5 percent approximately 0.463 million quintals are higher quality seeds while the total quantity of seeds collected during the 2024 campaign amounted to 0.394 million quintals.
From a geographical point of view, the governorate of Béja leads with 2.158 million quintals or 23.23 percent of the national total followed by Bizerte with 1.286 million quintals or 13.85 percent, Siliana with 1.192 million quintals or 12.84 per cent and Jendouba with 1.089 million quintals or 11.73 percent.
