A great initiative by the Tunisian Education Association of blind and visually impaired children in Sfax in partnership with the Lions Club.
We can only bow and greet these beautiful initiatives carried by civil society and made and financed by volunteers.
In Sfax, the last hand is being created to create an educational audio studio thanks to the support of two Lions Clubs. Indeed, the Lions Sfax Thyna and the Sfax Sidi Mansour Lions have associated their efforts to mobilize the resources necessary for the creation of this studio.
In addition, the Foundation of the Lions Club International has teamed up with the realization of this project in favor of the blind and visually impaired children of Sfax.
The studio which should be operational shortly, has been installed in the premises of the Nour school on the side of Bab El Gharbi.
Founded in 2012, this school whose premises were made available to the Tunisian Education Association of blind children in Sfax by the Ministry of National Education, offers many services.
In the past, the children of Sfax had to go to Tunis or Gabés to benefit from learning which is now given to them in this establishment.
Browing new, the educational audio studio has all the technical assets and should provide many services to the young people who are visually impaired by Sfax.
The animators of this initiative are currently planning recordings and educational workshops and reflect on optimizing the performance of this workshop.
Hats off to all the energies that have mobilized for the launch of this project, in particular the Lions Club and the activists of civil society.
