The trial of Slim Kantari, an executive of the prohibited terrorist group Ansar al-Charia and close to the founder Abu Iyadh, was postponed to October 28, 2025 by the criminal chamber specializing in terrorist affairs at the Tunis court of first instance.
He is continued for having initially encouraged Syria to join extremist groups, in particular through public sermons. Arrested in Gabès in March 2014, he is also involved in other terrorist files.
