The Tunisian kayaker will participate in two major stages of the Slalom Kayak World Cup, before aligning the junior and U23 world championships.
The first round of the World Cup is scheduled for June 6 to 8, while the second will be held in France from June 13 to 15. These competitions will bring together the best world kayakers, offering Jemai an opportunity to compete with the elite of slalom.
In July, he will participate in the World Juniors and U23, also organized in France, from July 8 to 13. He will compete in two disciplines: slalom and kayak cross, a spectacular event recently introduced on the world circuit.
At only 20 years old, Jemai continues to evolve at the highest level. In 2024, he represented Tunisia at the Paris Olympic Games, a historic first for a Tunisian kayaker.
His Olympic qualification had been obtained thanks to a gold medal during the African tournament in Reunion. In the World Cup as at the U23 Worlds, Jemai is now aimed at crossing a new technical and mental course.
