Civil protection announced, Tuesday, July 8, intervened 594 times between July 7 at 6 a.m. and July 8 at the same time, including 134 fire extinction operations across the country.
Among the other interventions identified are 132 rescue and road assistance, as well as 305 various actions linked to other non-road incidents, according to the institution’s spokesperson.
Faced with sometimes unstable climatic conditions, the authorities also call for caution fishermen, avoiding any outing at sea in the event of violent winds or announced storm, and recommend postponing navigations until improving time.
