For the first time, the Houthis rebels of Yemen publicly claimed a coordinated strike with Iran against Israel, which occurred in the night of June 13 to 14, 2025. Ballistic missiles, including “Palestine 2” hypersonics, targeted sites qualified as “sensitive” in the Jaffa region, in the center of the country.
A few hours earlier, the Israeli army had announced that several projectiles drawn towards the center of Israel came from the Yemeni territory. This information was confirmed by the Houthis in a press release released by the Al Masirah channel.
Military spokesman Houthi, Yehya Sarea, said that the operation had been carried out in coordination with the Iranian army, in what he described as a “act of solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian and Iranian peoples”.
The provisional assessment of the strikes is at least four dead and dozens of injured in the center of Israel. A previous series of attacks in the north of the country had already made Four additional dead.
This announcement marks a turning point: it is the first time that a group combined with Iran openly recognizes a Direct military cooperation with Tehran in strikes against Israel. A strong signal, both for Western allies and for Israeli deterrence.
The Hebrew state has not yet officially reacted to this claim, but the Israeli media evoke imminent strengthening of anti -missile defense in central areas.
