The President of the Republic, Kais Saied, received this Monday 7 July at the Palais de Carthage La Cheffe du Government, Sarra Zaâfrani Zenzri. The meeting focused on several draft laws and decrees currently under study.

On this occasion, the Head of State recalled that the priorities of government action must be focused on social justice, the strengthening of investment and the eradication of corruption. He stressed that many public services can only fully fulfill their mission if administrative managers proactively meet the needs of citizens.

“There can be no real legislative reform without a deep administrative reform, itself based on a cultural change in mentalities,” said Kais Saied, insisting on the need to restore a strong relationship of confidence between administration and users.

The president also warned of the attempts at destabilization carried out by “pockets of the counter-revolution”. According to him, despite their repeated maneuvers and their “changing masks”, these actors are now clearly identified by the Tunisian people.

“The challenges we face must be met with determination. The Tunisian people will continue their journey and defeat all the conspiracies, “he said.
