From 7 pm this Wednesday, January 15, 2025, and until the end of the month, the Tunisian sky will offer a rare spectacle: the alignment of seven planets, or “planetary parade”.
According to Hichem Ben Yahia, professor at the Tunis City of Sciences, some of them will be visible to the naked eye if the weather conditions allow.
Alignment includes Saturn, Venus, Jupiter, Mars, Mercury, Neptune and Uranus, although these last two are not visible without telescope. The highest point is planned for the night of January 21.
This phenomenon, observable worldwide, remains purely visual and does not influence natural events on earth. An appointment not to be missed for fans of the sky!
