The Mazzouna region in the governorate of Sidi Bouzid, has been effervescence since the announcement of the death of three students, killed by the collapse of the wall of a high school.
Three students, aged 18 and 19, died, two of which were killed instantly, the third died during his transport at the Sidi Bouzid regional hospital. Other people have been injured, two of whom are still in critical condition.
Following this drama, scenes of protests took place in Mazzouna where the situation degenerated, according to the Mosaique FM radio, which reports, that the main road in the city was cut, tires burnt down.
According to witnesses, the city’s businesses have dropped their curtain and an administrative car, targeted by stones, was vandalized.
