Iran-Israël: Friedrich Merz: “Israel does the dirty work for all of us”

While the conflict between Israel and Iran has not shown any sign of appeasement since the launch of Israeli aggression on June 13, reactions are increasing internationally. This situation has occupied a central place at the G7 summit, which is currently being held in Canada.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz reacted with particularly direct remarks. According to him, Israel had “courage” to do “the dirty job for all of us”. He considers that the Hebrew state has taken responsibility for a regime which, in its words, “brought death and destruction in the world”.

In addition, Friedrich Merz believes that these Israeli strikes were necessary. In an interview with the ZDF channel, he declared that without this operation, the terrorism of the Iranian regime could have lasted for a long time. According to him, Iran could even have ended with nuclear weapons.

In addition, the German Chancellor told the Welt TV channel that the Iranian regime was now “considerably weakened”. He considers it unlikely that he will find his past influence. According to him, the future of the Islamic Republic is now uncertain.

On the ground, tensions continue to worsen. On June 17, Israel said he killed Ali Chadmani, Iranian chief of staff in wartime. In return, Iran threatens to intensify its strikes in the coming hours.

For his part, US President Donald Trump was particularly threatening. On his Truth Social platform, he demanded an “unconditional capitulation” of Iran. He also claims that the United States is now completely controlling Iranian airspace. In addition, he claims to know where the Iranian supreme guide is, while specifying that he does not intend to aim for “for the moment”.
