The Ministry of Family, Women, Childhood and Elderly announced, in a statement published this Tuesday, the arrest of the individual accused of verbal and physical assault against a woman, following the dissemination of a video documenting this act on social networks.
The ministry said that he had immediately taken care of the victim immediately as soon as he was informed, Sunday evening, of the replay of this video, the facts of which go back to 2018.
He also recalled the need to refrain from sharing this video again, stressing that this constitutes a form of cybernetic violence against the victim.
The ministry has reaffirmed the importance of strengthening cooperation and network work to prevent all forms of violence and protect the victims, both within institutions and in the family and society, in accordance with the provisions of organic law n ° 58 of 2017 relating to the elimination of violence against women.
