The general management of the Transu expressed its deep regret after an incident that occurred in the morning of Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at the Habib Thamer bus station, where a citizen was attacked by several agents of the company.
In a press release, the company firmly condemned this act, describing it as irresponsible behavior contrary to the professional values of this public institution. It announced the immediate suspension of the agents involved and the opening of an administrative inquiry in order to shed light on the circumstances of the incident and to take the necessary disciplinary measures.
The TransTU has also apologized, on behalf of all of its managers and employees, and assured that it will take all the measures required to prevent such incidents from happening, in order to preserve the image of the public service and the respect of users.
