The Directorate of the Cleanliness Department of the Médina district carried out, in the night, land interventions focused on cleaning and disinfection of the tourist circuit of the Medina of Tunis.
The work consisted in the sweeping of the main streets, the collection of waste, the washing of sidewalks and alleys, as well as the elimination of dirt accumulated in the corners and the neuralgic points of the tourist route.
In addition, cleanliness campaigns have also been carried out in the municipal districts of Kabaria and El Khadra, in addition to the continuation of the joint cleaning campaign in the Columbia district of El Khadra 7, as well as in the districts of El Menzah and El Omrane Superior.
As part of the continuous efforts of health prevention and the fight against insects, the services of the district of El Menzah intervened to demonstrate using the thermal fog technique in several streets and arteries of the El Menzah 9 district.
These interventions are part of a periodic program aimed at guaranteeing safety, the well-being of residents and limiting the proliferation of insects.
