In the city of Kasserine, an investigation was opened after the murder of a four-year-old child, which occurred in the Dachra region, a subdistrict of Hay El Zohour.
On March 11, 2025, in the morning, a man went to the post of the National Guard of Kasserine Sud to report the disappearance of her son from their home. It was only in the evening, around 8:15 p.m., that the child’s body was found in a nearby valley.
The investigations carried out by the investigative sub-department, in collaboration with the regional national guard units, quickly appointed a suspect. After an interrogation, the individual admitted to having committed this terrible act. The clothes he wore at the time of the crime were seized and was placed in detention. A second person, involved in the case, was also arrested.
