The deputy in the Assembly of People’s Representatives, Asma Eddarouiche, revealed this Sunday that the resurgence of drownings and injuries that occurred recently in the not monitored beaches, in the absence of a legal framework, pushed 26 deputies to submit a bill to protect summer visitors and guarantee the security of swimming in the beaches and aquatic spaces. Speaking on the waves of Mosaique FM, the deputy underlined, in her intervention, the lack of equipment and rescue means on non -tourist beaches, as well as the multiplication of dangerous behavior, in addition to swimming in wadis and lakes.
She specified that the bill addresses several aspects, in particular: the delimitation of swimming areas, the obligation of the presence of rescue teams on the beaches, the fixing of surveillance conditions, the equipment of the beaches in necessary material, the organization of the use of aquatic spaces, the definition of legal responsibilities, as well as the imposition of financial sanctions in the event of offenses.
