The criminal chamber of the Tunis court of first instance rendered its verdict in the case of embezzlement of funds involving three employees of a bank located in the banks of the lake, in Tunis.
Prison sentences vary between 5 and 11 years old for these individuals, found guilty of having diverted significant sums they then transferred to their personal accounts.
Depending on the details of the file, the total diverted amount exceeds 60,000 dinars. Employees have been judged for several serious offenses, including qualified betrayal, the constitution of a criminal agreement aimed at harming property and persons, as well as the detention and use of falsified documents.
