The National Water Operating and Distribution Company (SONEDE) announced that an interruption in drinking water supply has occurred since last night, Wednesday, May 28 at 10 p.m. in several districts of the governorates of Tunis and Ben Arous.
The affected areas include Jbel Jloud (Governorate of Tunis), Cité Ben Arfa, rue de France and the surrounding alleys, as well as Cité Malaab and the industrial zone of the Ben Arous delegation.
This cut is due to repair work on a breakdown affecting the main distribution channel (500 mm diameter) located in Sidi Fathallah, in the delegation of Jbel Jloud.
The gradual resumption of the distribution of water in the areas concerned is scheduled for this Thursday, May 29 from 10 p.m., after the work that has continued without interruption since last night.
