Iran-Israel: Trump proclaims a ceasefire, but the missiles still fall

Donald Trump is self -sealing for having ended the 12 -day war between Israel and Iran. But on the ground, violence continues.

In a nighttime declaration published on Truth Social, Donald Trump announced a “progressive” cease Between Israel and Iran: Iranian strikes stopped at 4:00 am GMT, then Israeli twelve hours later. According to him, a deal which was “inspired by reason and truth”. However, in the sky of the region, War remains active.

At the same time, Iran has pulled six salves from missiles over Israelkilling at least three people in Beersheba. The Israeli army and the emergency services confirmed the victims and the wounded, while Interceptions have been observed above al-Quds and Haifa.

In reality, The reprisal cycle has never ceased. Even before the announcement of the ceasefireon the evening of June 23, Iran had already struck the American base of Al-Uudeid, Qatarin response to American bombings against its nuclear installations. According to military sources, the missiles have been intercepted and no victim is to be deplored.

In Iraq also, several American military bases – Taji, Balad, Victory, Imam Ali – were targeted. These attacks confirm a geographic expansion of the conflict.

In another worrying development, Iran Press TV said that Iranian nuclear nuclear scientist, Sedight Saber, was killed in an Israeli strike in Tehran. An operation that would have precipitated the last Iranian responses.

Israel has not confirmed the cease-fire announced by Trump. Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu brought together his security firm and imposed total discretion on his ministers. Tehran, for his part, denies the existence of a formal agreement. Iranian Diplomacy Abbas Arabhchi said that Iran would stop its attacks only if Israel ended its “illegal attacks”.

Qatar would have acted as a discreet mediatorfacilitating indirect discussions. But despite this attempted de -escalation, The facts show that the war continues.

Since June 13, Iran says more than 400 people have been killedof which 13 children. On the Israeli side, the balance sheet rises to 24 dead Since the start of Iranian strikes.

On social networks, Trump continues to salute “a historical peace”, going so far as to conclude his message with a strange “may God bless Israel, may God bless Iran”. A diplomatic refrain well disconnected from realities in the field.

The time-fire time plan announced by Donald Trump

Monday evening, around 6 p.m. (local time in Washington, 10 p.m. GMT), Donald Trump published a specific calendar on his Truth Social Platform for the entry into force of the ceasefire between Israel and Iran.

  • The ceasefire had to start about six hours later, in 04:00 GMT (7:00 am in Israel, 7:30 am in Tehran). This six -hour period would allow the two countries to finalize their “final missions”.
  • Iran had to be the first to respect the ceasefire, from 04:00 GMT (Tuesday morning).
  • Israel was to follow 12 hours later, at 7 p.m. local time (4 p.m. GMT).
  • Israel was required to maintain the Truce for 12 hours, after which the ceasefire would be considered to be fully effective.

Donald Trump said that this calendar would mark the official end of what he described as the “twelve -day war” between Israel and Iran.
