The Tunisian Electricity and Gas Company (STEG) has announced that an interruption in power supply will take place this Sunday, June 15, 2025 in several districts of the Sousse and Monastir governorates, due to maintenance work scheduled on the network.
In Sousse, the cut is scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Ksibet Chott area.
In the governorate of Monastir, several localities will be affected. In Monastir-Ville, the current will be interrupted from 8:00 am to 11:00 am in the Skanes district, near the crossroads of the presidency. In Jemmal, the cut will intervene from 11 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and will receive the areas of the municipality of Zaouiet Kontoch, the road to Beni Hassen, the road to Moknine, the road to Sousse, as well as the avenue des Martyrs.
The STEG specifies that the restoration of electricity will be done gradually, without notice, depending on the progress of the work.
