A vast control operation carried out Tuesday by joint control services on Ras Angela beach, in the delegation of Bizerte Sud, led to the drafting of more than 12 minutes, according to Maher Kcharem, head of the regional office of the Littoral Protection and Development Agency (APAL) in Bizerte.
Questioned by the Tunisian radio correspondent in the region, Tarek Jebbar, the manager said that this campaign was part of the activities of the regional beaches supervision commission.
During this operation, more than 30 chairs, 5 tables, 32 parasols and 40 reed huts were seized. Several warnings have also been issued against offenders, warning them against any recurrence.
Maher Kcharem stressed that these campaigns are continuing in all the coastal areas of the governorate of Bizerte and that they will aim for both license holders and those who illegally occupy the maritime public domain in violation of the texts in force.
