Four Tunisian swimmers will participate in the world swimming championships, which will be held in Singapore from July 11 to August 3.
Tunisia will participate in the world swimming championship, with a delegation made up of four swimmers: Jamila Boulakbèche, Ahmed Jaouadi, Belhassen Ben Milad and Yassine Ben Abbes.
Jamila Boulakbèche will compete in the 800m freestyle event, while Hmed Jaouadi will take part in the 400 m, 800 m and 1500 m freestyle. Belhassen Ben Milad will compete on 200 m Papillon and Yassine Ben Abbes will be aligned with 100 m and 200 m back, as well as on the 400 m four swimming.
The swimmer Rami Rahmouni, specialist in the free water marathon, was exempt from this edition by the Tunisian Swimming Federation, in order to best prepare his participation in the U18 junior world championship, which will take place in Bucharest, Romania, from August 19 to 24, told national coach, Amar Ben Rekia, at the TAP agency.
Note that Tunisia has won nine medals in the history of its participation in swimming Worlds: six for Osama Mellouli (1 gold, 2 silver, 3 bronze) and three for Ahmed Ayoub Hafnaoui (2 gold, 1 silver).
