A video extract widely broadcast on social networks has aroused a wave of questions and controversies. According to the relayed images, we would see the arrest of the Algerian international player Youcef Belaïli, evolving within the Sports Hope of Tunis, at Charles-de-Gaulle airport, in Paris.
On this subject, the Algerian newspaper El Heddaf confirmed that Belaïli had been arrested. According to the media, he was inappropriately treated within the airport, following a dispute with an air hostess.
The conflict would have broken out when he refused to attach the seat belt of his young son, which required the intervention of security agents.
The player was however released later, thanks to the intervention of the Algerian Football Federation and the Algerian Embassy in France.
