Several regions of the country have experienced precipitation in the last 24 hours (from 7 a.m. on Wednesday at 7 a.m. on Thursday), according to data published by the National Institute of Meteorology (INM). The Jendouba region has also recorded hailstorms.
In addition, the INM provides for the arrival of thunderstorm cells accompanied by rains this Thursday afternoon, first affecting the regions of the west of the country before stretching locally north and the center-east.
These rains can be intense in places, with a risk of local hail, especially in the governorates of Kef, Siliana, Kasserine and Sidi Bouzid.
According to the monitoring form published by INM, the highest cumulation of rain are estimated between 20 and 40 mm.
